To help you stay informed, here is a quick reference guide outlining the 2026 payment dates for many of the most commonly accessed federal benefit programs.
The schedule includes payment dates for:
Canada Disability Benefit (CDB)
Canada Pension Plan (CPP)
Old Age Security (OAS) and the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS)
Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit (CGEB)
Canada Child Benefit (CCB)
Please note that payments are issued on the scheduled dates, but it may take several days for funds to appear in your account, particularly if you receive payments by cheque. The Government of Canada recommends waiting 5 to 10 business days before contacting the program regarding a delayed payment.

Canada Disability Benefit
The Canada Disability Benefit (CDB) provides direct financial support to people with disabilities who are between 18 and 64 years old.
